General overview

This is one of our 2 "partner sites". We've been working closely together for more than 5 years time, & in reality we work as one team, sharing each project's daily tasks. The team is composed of 15 chemists, including 2PhD's(1 with post-doc experience). Project scope typically includes both designing & developing/optimizing 3-10 steps of chemistry towards a unique molecule which is intended to be further scaled down the line. This R&D site also has a full range of capabilities, including both gram scale R&D as well as gram to multi-kilo scale production. In addition to the typical stand-up hoods, we also have large scale walk-in hoods allowing for the ability to develop & scale new chemistry quickly & efficiently on-site. Special capabilities include low temperature, on-site hydrogenation & silica purification area. Our chemists have access to the full range of analytical & literature searching tools, in order to ensure that the best process is designed & efficiently developed. All personnel are thoroughly trained on the concepts of western project confidentiality expectations, & employment requirements strictly re-enforcing these same expectations.

Project scope

We work both under price per kilo contracts & in FTE arrangements. Heterocyclic chemistry, especially pyridine-related, is a well-known team expertise. Our typical project involves 2-10 chemistry steps, & scale is anywhere from gram to kilo of final product. Early large scale intermediates can be produced outside in one of our production facilities (Lianyungang, Shangyu, Yiwu), & final process steps performed in the above mentioned kilo suites, as necessary. When & if needed, we can continue to scale-up the chemistry within our Lianyungang commercial production facility.
