Location: Hangzhou Gulf Fine Chemical Zone, Shangyu City, Zhejiang Province, ChinaGeneral overview
This is one of our 2 multi-purpose production "partner sites". The Shangyu site is ISO-9002 & site team includes 220 people in total, most of them focused on scale-up optimization & commercial production. There are 2 additional China sites, specializing in commercial production of other various raw materials. This extremely large production site includes a wide variety of reaction vessels, varying in size from 100-5000L & in different material compositions. The site is operated according to the highest quality & EHS principles, & has achieved many successful customer inspections. We've been working closely together for more than 10 years time, & in reality working as one team, sharing each project's daily tasks. Additional details can be provided on request.
The site research & development team is comprised of 10 chemists, led by Dr Dai Liyan, a highly accomplished Hangzhou organic Chemist. Project scope typically includes both designing & developing/optimizing 2-10 steps of chemistry towards a unique molecule which is intended to be scaled-up & produced at pilot or commercial scale. Heterocyclic chemistry, especially pyridine-related, is a well-known team expertise.
This facility site itself offers continuity of scale including gram-scale R&D, & both pilot & commercial production(up to 5000L reactors). Special commercial capabilities on-site include "high pressure" & "continuous reaction set-ups". Chemists have access to the full range of analytical & literature searching tools, in order to ensure the best process is designed & efficiently developed. All personnel are thoroughly trained on the concepts of western project confidentiality expectations, & the employment requirements are strictly re-enforcing these same expectations.
The site has been approved by our multinational innovator pharmaceutical customers, to make both basic & complex chemical raw materials.
